Drinking water is a critical resource that everyone needs. If elected I will take this position with the greatest of importance and care. I feel I have the skills necessary based on my many years in corporate technology, operations management, private practice technology consulting, and most recently, water science testing. I am forward thinking with a focus on long term strategic planning and goals as I care deeply about the future. I am well versed with the importance of fighting environmental contaminants that could pollute our drinking water. In 2012 if you remember we saw 80 foot, very smelly, oil leaching utility poles go up in our beautiful town. I researched this chemical and its history then fought to have (PCP) PentaChloroPhenol and PCP Utility Poles banned. I worked closely with the Town of North Hempstead to protect the citizens against this chemical. After many years of hard work PCP was finally phased out in 2021 by the EPA due to its risk to drinking water. I was given...
